Ring to lead his home town St. Patrick’s Day parade

RECENTLY retired from political life, Michael Ring has been chosen to lead the Saint Patrick's Day parade in his home town this year.

Westport’s St. Patrick's Day Community Parade Committee has decided on the theme 'Our Community Connection' for the 2025 parade.

They have further confirmed that former minister and TD Michael Ring - someone who is the embodiment of community connections - has been selected to act as grand marshal for the parade.

In keeping with the title 'Our Community Connection' it affords all business, community and sporting groups the opportunity to showcase and celebrate their connection to Westport’s vibrant community spirit.
