Concern about fallen wall in Mayo estate

RESIDENTS in Summerfield, Castlebar, are concerned about a fallen wall.

It was knocked during the most recent storm. By a ‘miracle‘ it fell into the green area, not the greenway.

Councillor Ger Deere raised the issue at a municipal district meeting where he has asked for an update on its repair.

There are railings around the area but residents, he said, are concerned about children getting inside it.
