Launch of Mayo's Clew Bay Garden Trail 2025

Something truly special has taken root in Mayo.
The Clew Bay Garden Trail 2025 has been officially opened at National Museum of County Life, Turlough - and with it a season of colour, community and connection.
The ceremony was performed by biologist and broadcaster Éanna Ní Lamhna, a voice loved across Ireland for her deep knowledge, wit, and unmistakable passion for the wild.
She doesn’t just speak about nature — she radiates it.
A big turnout marked the launch.
The initiate will see a group of Mayo gardeners opening gardens in June and July to the public.
The gardens are Garden Haven, Windfalls, Enniscoe Organic Garden, Westport Community Garden, Coill and Chúir, Wild Willow, Sonas, The Clog Factory, Ivy Garden and Ballina Karen Community Green Garden.
