Mayo note key dates as LGFA publishes 2026 Master Fixtures Plan

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association has confirmed its Master Fixtures Plan for 2026. It was ratified at a central council meeting on September 24 last.

Mayo's inter-county season will commence on Sunday, January 25, as they get their Lidl National League Division 2 campaign up and running.

Deeper into 2026, Mayo's TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship adventure will start on Saturday, June 6.

The Lidl National Leagues commence with Division 4 on January 18, while Divisions 1, 2 and 3 will start on January 25.

The league finals in Divisions 1 and 2 will be played at on Saturday, April 11, with the Division 3 and Division 4 finals fixed for Sunday, April 12.

The 2026 TG4 All-Ireland Championships will get underway on Sunday, May 31, with the opening games in the junior and intermediate championships. The senior championship starts on June 6.

The championship series will conclude at Croke Park on Sunday, August 2, with all three finals (junior, intermediate and senior).

Later in the year, the 2026 TG4 All-Star Awards banquet, in association with Lidl, will take place on Saturday, November 14th, before the 2026 playing season concludes with the AIB All-Ireland club finals in December.
