End of an era for Mayo GAA refereeing administration

Mayo GAA referee administrator Sean McHale has stepped down from the role after long and dedicated service.

Sean had been involved in the county's referee committee as liaison officer for the last four years and has been involved in refereeing for almost 50 years.

Mayo GAA chairman Seamus Tuohy thanked Sean McHale on behalf of the county board for what he has done for refereeing in the county.

His position has been taken by Michael Daly.
