Funding for east Mayo cemetery upgrade confirmed

FUNDING for upgrade works at Kilconduff Cemetery in Swinford has been confirmed by local Councillor Adrian Forkan.

The works include footpath improvements and an enhanced turning bay, improving accessibility at the burial grounds.

Councillor Forkan confirmed: “Following extensive discussion and sustained representation, funding in excess of €30,000 has been successfully secured for essential improvement works at Kilconduff Graveyard.

“This investment will facilitate the upgrade of footpaths and the enhancement of the turning bay, improving accessibility, safety, and overall ease of movement for visitors and maintenance services alike.”
