Dry with spells of sunshine forecast for Saturday
People across Mayo can expect another largely dry day on Saturday, with sunny spells but also an increase in cloud at times.
Forecasters say conditions will remain mostly settled throughout the day, although there is a chance of an isolated shower developing in some areas.
Temperatures are set to reach highs of between 10 and 12 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds, with slightly fresher conditions likely along coastal areas.
The overall outlook suggests weather conditions will gradually become more unsettled as the weekend progresses, with spells of rain expected to spread in from the Atlantic at times.
Saturday night will start off dry with clear spells.
However, cloud is expected to thicken from the southeast overnight, bringing patches of light rain and drizzle to southern and eastern coastal counties by morning.
Lowest temperatures will fall to between -1 and +4 degrees generally, though Atlantic coastal regions are expected to remain somewhat milder. Winds will be light to moderate from the southeast.
