Meeting held on Mayo community town hall project

The committee of Ballinrobe Civic, Arts & Amenity Company Ltd today held a positive and constructive meeting in Dublin with officials from the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, led by Minister Dara Calleary, as part of ongoing engagement on the Ballinrobe Town Hall project.

A representative from the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport was also in attendance. The discussion marks a further step in the process, with additional meetings expected in the coming weeks.

The committee continue to work closely with South West Mayo Development Company, whose support remains central to progressing the project, along with the continued backing of local elected representatives.

The committee’s focus remains on delivering a sustainable, multi-purpose facility for Ballinrobe and the wider area. Further updates will be provided as discussions progress.
