New date for Mayo Ploughing Championships confirmed

A NEW date for the rescheduled Mayo County Ploughing Championship has been confirmed.

The County Ploughing Championship will be held on Sunday, May 10, on Kelly's Farm, Roundfort (F12 Y205).

The championships will feature tractor, horse and vintage ploughing, live music and dancing, sheepdog trials, dog show and free amusements for children.

As always, it promises to be a great day for all the family.

Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice will be performing the official opening on the day.
