Mayo's Garron joins Westlife and Boy George on Late Late
MAYO's Garron Noone will be joining Patrick Kielty as a guest on the Late Late Show tonight, bringing his trademark craic and deliciousness to the studio.
Garron will chat about what he’s been up to recently, confess to being a secret Westlife fan, and share his usual hilarious takes on life. Plus, he’s arriving with a very exciting announcement that fans won’t want to miss.
Lucky for Garron, then, that Westlife are returning to Late Late studio for the last show of the season - taking a full trip down memory lane. Shane Filan, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne will perform not one, not two, but three of their biggest hits, along with a surprise collaboration nobody knew they needed!
They’ll chat to Patrick about gearing up for their 3Arena residency this September, share some hilarious fan-encounter stories and soak up the nostalgia. Plus, one Westlife superfan will go head-to-head with the lads in a quiz to find out who really knows the band best.
Music icon Boy George will also join Patrick this week. He will chat about an exhibition of some of his most legendary outfits coming to the Museum of Style Icons at Newbridge Silverware this May showcasing his vibrant sense of style and fashion. He will also chat about his extraordinary career, his Irish roots and how his late Dublin-born mother influenced his creativity and love of fashion and style.
Having gone viral for running the London Marathon with a fridge on his back, Jordan Adams and his brother Cian will share their story - and why they’re so determined to raise awareness of dementia after losing 12 relatives, including their mother, Geraldine, to the disease. They’ll also discuss their next major challenge: running 32 marathons in 32 days across all 32 counties of Ireland to shine a light on the thousands of families affected.
The marathon challenge will see them in Castlebar on Friday, May 9.
