Mayo county town mourns passing of Tina Gray

The death has taken place of Martina (Tina) Gray, 24 An Sruthán, Turlough Road, and formerly of Fr. Meehan Place and Moneen Cottages, Castlebar.

A member of popular and respected local family, she died peacefully at home, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.

She is deeply regretted by her loving daughter Amy and her adored grandaughter Scarlett, her brothers and her sisters: Mick, Shrule, Peter, Castlebar, Geraldine, Castlebar, Margaret Ludden, Castlebar, Sharon, Castlebar, Siobhain, Castlebar; sisters-in-law Freda and Kathleen, brothers-in-law Frank McHugh, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends.

Sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their loss.

Tina was predeceased by her parents Mel and Peggy (née Gannon) her brother Tony and her sister Mary who died in infancy.

Tina will repose at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, on Sunday from 5 p.m. with prayers at 7 p.m.

The funeral will arrive at The Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, on Monday at 10.40 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.

Removal afterwards to Shannon Crematorium for service at 3 p.m.
