Warm and sunny Monday ahead for Mayo

Monday will bring dry, warm and sunny conditions to Mayo, though some mist and low cloud will linger along coastal areas during the morning.

Highest temperatures of 22 to 26 degrees, cooler near the coast, with light southerly or variable winds.

Tonight will be dry with clear spells.

Some cloud and patches of drizzle are possible in the north and west later, with mist and fog forming overnight.

Lowest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees in light northerly or variable winds.

The warm spell will continue into Tuesday, with mist and fog clearing during the morning to give dry and sunny conditions.

Highest temperatures of 20 to 27 degrees nationally, though cooler along north-facing coasts, in light to moderate northerly or easterly winds.

Wednesday will also be largely dry and warm with plenty of sunshine. Current indications suggest conditions will become less settled towards the end of the week and into the Bank Holiday weekend, with showers and rain possible.
