Ahead of the announcement of this year's live games in rounds one and two, TG4 confirmed a five-year sponsorship and broadcast extension of the LGFA championships. The landmark new agreement will bring TG4’s sponsorship and broadcast partnership with the LGFA through to the conclusion of the 2032 season.
First established in 2001, TG4’s relationship with the LGFA has grown into a cornerstone of the women’s sporting landscape in Ireland. What began with six games shown in 2001 has developed into a comprehensive broadcast commitment across TG4, the TG4 Player, the TG4 app and Spórt TG4 YouTube.
This year, following the group stages, the senior last eight ties will be played across the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, July 4 and 5, with three quarterfinals fixed for Saturday (1.45 p.m., 5.15 p.m. and 7.30 p.m.) and the remaining tie on Sunday (5.45 p.m.). The semi-finals will be played on Saturday, July 18, and both will be shown live on TG4 - at 3.15 p.m. and 5.15 p.m.
On Sunday, August 2, the 2026 TG4 LGFA All-Ireland Championship finals will be live on TG4, with the junior decider at 11.45 a.m. followed by the intermediate showdown at 1.45 p.m. and the senior showpiece at 4.15 p.m.
All senior championship ties not shown on linear TV, including the relegation playoff final, will be available to view free-to-air on the Spórt TG4 YouTube channel. The junior and intermediate championship semi-finals will also be covered on Spórt TG4 YouTube.
