Mayo women set for FAI inter-league cup semi-final next weekend

THE Mayo Women's League county team are one match away from a national final.

They host the Eastern Women's Football League (EWFL) in the FAI Angela Hearst Inter-League Cup semi-final at CMS Park, Knock, next Sunday. Kick-off is at 2 p.m.

The draw has dictated that this is the second time Mayo will face EWFL in this campaign.

Mayo won that first outing, also played in Knock, before putting up a comprehensive scoreline over their Donegal counterparts to top their group.

EWFL made the draw as leading runners-up, with Galway FA and Waterford District Womens & Schoolgirl League making up the other semi-final pairing vying for a place in the July 7 final.
