Mayo family gather for special celebration

THE Nestor family from Belcarra, Castlebar, have held a special family gathering.

From Monday to Wednesday of this week, the Sligo Park Hotel hosted a get-together for Sean and Ann Nestor from Belcarra, along with their six children, their partners and 18 grandchildren (ranging from four to 20 years).

The special family get-together marked Sean's 85th birthday.

The event saw the family coming together from near and far, including son Colm, a Professor from Linköping University in Sweden, his wife and three children who made it home to mark this special occasion.
