Former Mayo village pub to be transformed into a housing project

The site former Village Inn public house in Partry is to be transformed into a housing development.

The licenced premises, which also operated as a restaurant for many years, is the subject of a new planning application before Mayo County Council.

The application, in the name of OKT Hospitality Limited, is seeking permission of a change of use of the property to allow for the construction of eight two-storey, two bedroom houses with residential car park facilities.

A cafe is also included in the proposals.
