Mayo will enjoy a mostly dry day on Thursday, with spells of sunshine breaking through, hazy at times.

Isolated showers will develop through the day, but they will remain scattered rather than widespread.

Top temperatures will reach 15 to 18 degrees, with the mildest conditions found in the southeast of the county.

Winds will blow light to moderate from the west.

Thursday night will stay largely dry, with a mix of cloud and clear spells overhead.

Some scattered showers will push in over parts of the west and north as the night goes on.

Lowest temperatures will fall to 9 to 13 degrees, in light westerly breezes that will turn southerly or variable later in the night.
