Community survey on old Mayo swimming pool site being launched

MEMBERS of the community are being asked to have their say around the future use of the old swimming pool in Castlebar.

Castlebar Celtic are launching a survey to feed into how the premises, which has been lying vacant for some time, can be used.

The Castlebar Celtic community hub survey launch takes place this evening (Thursday, August 6) at 8 p.m. at the clubhouse.

As part of its pre-development town and village renewal scheme grant award, the club is inviting all club members and members of the wider Castlebar community to the launch of its club and community consultation survey.

The survey will seek your views, ideas and suggestions on the future development of the old pool site and how it could potentially benefit Castlebar Celtic and the wider community.

The survey will be open until August 31.
