Serious overcrowding issues being faced at Mayo hospital
Twenty-three patients are left without beds at Mayo University Hospital today.
Seven are on trolleys or chairs in the emergency department while 16 are in wards elsewhere.
Nationally 566 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.
Of those, 360 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 206 are in wards elsewhere.
