Bright start for Mayo before cloud builds on Monday
MAYO will see bright spells to start Monday, with dry conditions for most of the morning.
Cloud will thicken through the day, with a few showers feeding in from the west by the afternoon.
Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees are expected, in moderate to fresh westerly winds.
MONDAY NIGHT
Cloudy and damp conditions will develop across west Mayo overnight, with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle.
Lowest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees are forecast, in a light to moderate southwesterly breeze.
WEEK AHEAD
Tuesday will start mostly dry with sunny spells before turning cloudier, with rain and drizzle moving in later, heaviest in the west.
Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees.
Wednesday and Thursday will be breezier, with sunny spells and scattered showers.
Temperatures will climb further, reaching 18 to 22 degrees by Wednesday.
