Cloud and scattered showers forecast across Mayo tomorrow

Mayo is set for a largely cloudy day tomorrow, with scattered showers expected and temperatures reaching up to 18 degrees.

Met Éireann is forecasting a few bright or sunny spells during the early part of Tuesday, particularly in eastern and southern parts of the county, before cloud gradually increases through the day.

There will be a good deal of dry weather for much of the day, although scattered showers will affect parts of the county.

The west and northwest will be among the more exposed areas, with conditions becoming fresher at times as the day progresses.

Outbreaks of rain are expected to become more widespread across the country later in the day.

Temperatures will reach highs of around 16 to 18 degrees, with moderate southwesterly to westerly winds, freshening at times in the northwest.

Met Éireann's current outlook suggests that the unsettled conditions will continue through the week, with Wednesday bringing a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers.
