Contract signed for new croquet lawn at Mayo amenity park

SWINFORD Amenity Park is getting a new croquet lawn.

The bustling centre of sport has signed a contract with PST Sport to construct a new croquet lawn for the community.

Following the contract signing, Swinford Amenity Park paid tribute on its social media to the cross-community support which has delivered this latest project at the park.

The project was supported by Minister Dara Calleary and his Department for Rural, Community Development and An Gaeltacht through North East Leader and James Golden, Leader, Mayo North East, and Mayo County Council through Councillor Adrian Forkan Adrian Forkan who supported the project with GMA funding.

The remaining funds (€6,000) were received through local community business sponsorship.
