Sunny spells expected across Mayo tomorrow with a few showers possible

MAYO is set for a more settled day tomorrow (Friday), with sunny spells developing and just a few passing showers expected across the county.

According to the latest forecast, Friday will begin on a rather cloudy note, with a few isolated showers possible during the morning.

However, conditions are expected to brighten as the day progresses, with sunny spells becoming more widespread across Mayo.

A small number of showers will continue to affect parts of the county, but rainfall is expected to be limited compared with Thursday.

Temperatures will reach around 16C, with light to moderate southwesterly winds.

The outlook for the weekend is generally more unsettled, with showers returning at times.
