Mayo architects firm celebrates 60 years
STAFF, colleagues, past and present, gathered at the Grace Hotel for a very special evening celebrating 60 years of Taylor McCarney Architects.
The milestone anniversary for the Castlebar-based business provided a wonderful opportunity to reflect on six decades of architectural practice, dedication, and creativity, as well as the many people who have played a part in the story of the firm over the years.
From its inception in 1966 when established by the late Sean and Pauline Taylor, to the present day, Taylor McCarney Architects has continued to evolve and grow, building a strong reputation through its commitment to design, professionalism and its clients.
The anniversary celebration was a chance for everyone to come together in a relaxed and enjoyable setting, to share memories, catch up with former colleagues and celebrate the achievements of the practice. There was plenty of conversation, laughter and reminiscing as staff looked back over the years and marked this important occasion.
The evening also provided an opportunity to recognise the contribution of the many talented people who have been part of Taylor McCarney Architects throughout its 60-year history, and the ongoing efforts and commitment of the more than 50 staff currently employed.
With six successful decades behind it, the anniversary was not only a celebration of the past, but also a chance to look forward with excitement to the future with the practice continuing to expand in project typologies nationwide.
Everyone involved in the evening joined in celebrating this remarkable milestone and the friendships, achievements and memories that have made the Taylor McCarney Architects story such a special one.
