National distinction for dedicated staff of Mayo railway station

The staff of Castlebar Railway Station have been highly commended at the annual Iarnród Éireann Customer Experience Excellence Awards.

Niall Nestor, Noel Browne and Tomás Walsh attended the ceremony.

The awards recognise those who deliver the highest level of customer experience to rail customers and colleagues across the network and are in their fourth year.

The Castlebar Team was recognised for their 'exceptional teamwork, dedication, and consistently welcoming customer service at Castlebar train station'.
