Council services in Mayo closed on Wednesday due to industrial action

MAYO County Council has advised members of the public that, due to industrial action taking place tomorrow (Wednesday), all council public buildings, offices, libraries and public service points will be closed to the public for the day.

As a result, council services will be unavailable.

The council will, however, maintain arrangements to respond to emergency situations and assistance will be provided where required to protect public health and safety.

Normal opening arrangements will resume on Thursday.

Mayo County Council regrets any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for their understanding and cooperation.
